History

Originally built as a school house, the B&B was used by the Home Guard during World War II and served as a community hall for many years.  Extensively renovated by Keith and Alison Hatton, the Lodge proudly displays original features from its colourful past.

Fat Albert Smoke House

Gourmet smoked salmon, venison, duck and chorizo sausage products are also made on site in the Smoke House.  Delicious tastings of smoked products are provided to guests on arrival and you will want to take some home with you.
